World Environment Day and International Year of the Forests

Alto Hotel staff, family and friends joined Greenfleet to celebrate World Environment Day and International Year of the Forests last Sunday by helping to plant 3300 native trees. Ultimately these trees with form a forest that not only takes carbon pollution out of the atmosphere, provides cleaner air to the community, but also assists in the improvement of water quality entering the Cardinia Creek and Western Port Bay and provides habitat for the native animals and birds of the region.

Despite the cold weather, it was a very enjoyable day – finishing off with cup cakes all round
